THE SHACK -Home QTH
As a WVU Student living in an apartment, my home QTH has become our clubs shack located on the 11th floor of the engineering sciences building.
As the current president of W8CUL, I am actively working to bring our shack back to its former glory, by bringing all our radios and antennas to active service.
As of now all antennas are currently working. We are currently active on:
-20 M Yagi antenna
-G5RV Dipole antenna (Inverted v)
-UHF/VHF Satellite antennas
-2 Meter Repeater
-DMR Repeater
-2M whip
-432MHZ EME antenna : in progress
Personally I am very active on 20m sstv, 20m FT8, 40m voice, 20m voice, and our 2m repeater.
We currently have an elecraft k3s as our primary radio, an icom ic-9100 as our secondary radio, and are setting up a Kenwood ts 520 as an analog station.
In the future I look forward to making EME and satellite contacts, with both our clubs and my personal setup.
