Academics

West Virginia University

I am a third year Computer engineering student with a minor in computer science. I have an overall GPA of 3.12 and have completed nearly 75 percent of my major courses. Most recently I completed Introduction to Microprocessor Design and Differential equations.

I have been designated as a NASA Scholar for the 2020-2021 school year and have been awarded a research grant to pursue designing and constructing a portable system for Earth -Moon-Earth Communications.

Extra Curricular Activities

WVU Experimental Rocketry

Through the WVU Experimental Rocketry Club I have gotten hands on experience in Aerospace concepts. I am a registered member of the Tripoli Rocketry Association and I hold an Level 2 High power rocketry Certification. I am currently working on a multitude of projects as a member of the club. Those include:

-Variable Drag Rocket: Control System and active Telemetry Interface

-Level 3 12′ Transonic Rocket

-Competition Payload: Deployment Mechanism

In addition to my current projects I have also gained experience as a member of the Data acquisition team, static testing student researched solid rocket motors, and through working on other smaller projects.

WVU Amatuer Radio Club

As the current president of the WVU amatuer radio club, I have been learning the struggles of leadership during a pandemic as well as keeping a club running when meeting is very difficult. I have also gotten experience in the field of prototyping, designing, and repairing electronics. I hold my general class Federal Amatuer Radio license and have extensive experience with Hf communications as well as vhf and Uhf proficiency. My particular experiences are with antenna design and small electronics projects.

Work Experience

Hino Motors Manufacturing – Logistics Intern

During the summer of 2019 I worked in the Engineering department of this Manufacturing facility as a logistics intern. During this time I learned numerous skills and gained experience with a large production environment. I mostly worked to create and maintain a system to log and remove defective parts from the production line.
